COLIN MURPHY
Already established with his own series The Blizzard of Odd when he quietly sat at the end of the table for a few shows in series 1. By the time series 2 had come around, O'Briain and Cassidy, with the eagle eyed acumen which denotes Great Comedy Minds, had realised that he was actually from the North of Ireland, and made him a permanent fixture of the show since. He has held forth with equal authority on Killer Ladybirds, gay penguins, silage distribution, motoring and water parks, dropped into character with an impressive array of accents, and demonstrated that he has as sharp a facility with a one-liner as he has with the whimsical monologue.
