Happy Endings Productions was founded by Dara O'Briain and Seamus Cassidy. Since 2003 we have produced over 60 hours of programming in Ireland, including eight series of The Panel, a comedy talk show, Buried Alive, a one on one interview show hosted by Dara, both for RTE and This is Ireland, a comedy special for BBC2. The company specializes in entertainment and comedy, and in addition to its commissioned work has produced two series of Saturday Night with Miriam, RTE's hit chat show fronted by Miriam O'Callaghan.
Dara O'Briain is one of Ireland's hottest comedy exports, having made several appearances on both Parkinson and Jonathan Ross, hosted several series of Mock the Week and been guest presenter of Have I Got News For You.
Seamus Cassidy was Channel 4's Senior Commissioning Editor for Entertainment for more than ten years, during which time he commissioned shows such as Father Ted, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Drop The Dead Donkey, The Crystal Maze and Jack Dee. Since then he spent two years in development at Planet 24, before moving to Ireland to set up Happy Endings with Dara. In that time he has produced all of Happy Endings output, as well as finding time to shepherd the first series of RTE's runaway hit, Podge and Rodge, onto the airwaves in 2006.
